Embracing Your Natural Curls

I've been styling curly and wavy hair for years, and the one thing I always tell my clients is this: your curls are unique, and that's what makes them beautiful.
So many of us grew up fighting our natural texture — straightening, smoothing, trying to look like everyone else. But there's a revolution happening, and it's all about embracing what you've got.
The basics of curl care:
Hydration is everything — Curly hair is naturally drier. Use a sulfate-free shampoo and deep condition weekly.
Don't touch! — Once your curls are defined, hands off. Touching creates frizz.
Diffuse, don't blow — If you use a dryer, always diffuse on low heat.
Sleep on silk — A silk pillowcase or bonnet preserves your curls overnight.
Cut matters — Always go to someone who understands curly hair. A dry cut lets you see the real shape.
Come see me at the salon — I'd love to help you fall in love with your curls.
